We have been features in the media as a result of our success and were the principal firm of Private Detectives features by the BBC in their celebrated documentary in the Modern Times series (in 2000), called: "Ten Thousand Private Eyes". More recently, in anticipation of the requirement for Private Investigators to hold a SIA License in the UK which is anticipated to be compulsory from: 2010 onwards we are conducting a series of training days to assist students wishing to enter the profession.

Historical Perspective:
Searching for information:
1 / Defining and obtaining objectives with regard to available resources in accordance with legislation and the law.
2 / Free and Paid resources available.
3 / Methods of conducting searches, interacting with other agencies and teams.
Conducting Investigations:
1 / Viability, legality, consequences and pitfalls of investigations. Client screening.
2 / Pre planning taking into account budget, resources and legal constraints.
3 / Methods of reviewing, updating, reporting and recording.
4 / Maintaining security and confidentiality of information. Preserving and analysing evidence.
Surveillance:
1 / Allocating resources and employing appropriate, ethical and legally acceptable methods.
2 / Conducting static and non static surveillance.
3 / Equipment: Camera's, Recorders, trackers. All used in accordance with legal requirements and manufacturers' or suppliers instructions.
4 / Recording and reporting.
Interviewing and Statement Taking:
1 / Objectives and preplanning, observing sensitivities, rights, privacy, special needs and confidentiality.
2 / Skills required to complete a statement, eliciting, weighing up information.
3 / Procedures and techniques for maintaining validity and integrity.
Process Serving
1 / Types of Legal Documents and legal requirements involved in effecting service.
2 / Reporting and preparing confirmations of service.
3 / Pitfalls and issues, best practice and legal matters.
Debtor Tracing / People Tracing

Setting Up and Operating A Private Investigator Business:
1 / Legal requirements, identifying a market place, advertising.
2 / Tax, accountancy, licences
Operating to relevant laws and standards:
Understanding and employing Best Practice with regard to current laws and statutes, to include: Civil Procedure Legislation, Computer Misuse, Consumer Credit, Data Protection Acts, Security Industry Authority Standards of Behaviour for Private Investigators, etc.
